I dont think anyone expected this, but we are getting new spirits to play around with in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate this January! Sakurai didn’t say what game they would be from, so it will be a fun surprise next year! Check out the translated tweet below, aswell as the original!

Just a guess, but 2024 is the 25th anniversary of Smash 64. Maybe it’s the illustrations of the original 12? Then again, it was the 20th anniversary in 2019.
