The last couple of months for Fortnite have been absolutely massive, bringing in more players than ever before. In just the last couple of weeks alone, Fortnite has seen its highest player counts and concurrent players in its entire 6+ year history, and much of that is thanks to a ton of fresh content.

As you may know, within the last week we saw the addition of 3 new modes to Fortnite; Fortnite Festival, Rocket Racing and LEGO Fortnite. These 3 modes offer completely different experiences from the usual battle royale gameplay, letting players see a whole new side of the game-as-a-service. Millions have jumped into Fortnite to give these a go, and now they’re worried the experiences will disappear in the not-too-distant future. Thankfully, the complete opposite is the case.

Fortnite players are used to LTEs, which stands for Limited Time Events. From chapters and seasons to special experiences, Fortnite players know that most of the game’s content is only around for a few months before it gets sunset. While some may think that Fortnite Festival, Rocket Racing and LEGO Fortnite are part of that approach, that line of thinking is incorrect. Epic has let people know that these modes are permanent aspects of Fornite going forward, so you can play without worry of things disappearing.

Epic even released an official statement on this matter to clear up concerns, and you can read that below. (h/t VGC)

Howdy, friends…seeing some chatter around our newly launched games and people worried that they may not stick around. To clarify: these are brand new games entirely—not LTM’s.

Fear not! Fortnite Festival, Rocket Racing and LEGO Fortnite are here to stay – with regular updates.
