Johnny Turbo's Arcade titles have disappeared from the Switch eShop

Back in 2018, the Johnny Turbo’s Arcade series started to make its way to Switch. This series of games consisted of various Data East titles brought from the arcades to modern platforms for old-school gamers to enjoy. The lineup included games like Bad Dudes, Joe & Mac, BurgerTime and so on.

If you’re a fan of retro Data East titles, we hope you managed to scoop up the Johnny Turbo’s Arcade releases while they were still live, as the series has seemingly vanished from the Switch eShop. Visiting the eShop itself or the Nintendo.com to search for Johnny Turbo’s Arcade results in absolutely nothing, so something clearly must have gone wrong.

We can’t find any details on what happened with the Johnny Turbo’s Arcade series, but hopefully the removal of these titles is only temporary. We’ll try to get some details on the disappearance and bring you any information we stumble upon.
