Just Dance 2024 Introduces Beta for New Camera Controller Feature
Can't say "my controller didn't work!" anymore
It’s time to get up and start dancing, hands-free!
Just Dance 2024 is rolling out a Beta version of the new Camera Controller feature via an update to the Just Dance 2024 Controller app. This system allows players to use their mobile devices, specifically iPhones with iOS 14.4 or newer, to play the game without the need to hold anything. The phone’s camera, in landscape mode, detects and scores dance moves.
While the Beta is initially available for iOS users, the development team aims to improve the feature in collaboration with player feedback. The scoring system is designed for comfortable gameplay, with ongoing improvements based on user input. At the moment the feature supports 15 solo maps and to enable camera scoring compatibility, players need to erase and re-download the specified maps from their consoles if already downloaded.
