Nintendo kicks off "Hits for the Holidays Sale" Switch game sale

As the end of 2023 approaches, Nintendo has offers on dozens of games for the Nintendo Switch family of systems in its “Hits for the Holidays Sale” on Nintendo eShop and software deals available at Target stores nationwide.

Downloadable versions of select games will be available for 20-75% off regular prices in Nintendo eShop and on the My Nintendo Store from now through 11:59 p.m. PT on Jan. 3. Holiday shoppers can also save $20 off the suggested retail price of select Nintendo Switch games at Target stores, a sale that ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on Dec. 24. These deals come at a particularly perfect time for people looking for last-minute gifts for friends and loved ones (or for themselves!).

With so many games to choose from, players of all types can find something to enjoy. Highlights of the “Hits for the Holidays Sale” include Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Metroid Dread, Nintendo Switch Sports, SONIC SUPERSTARS and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Digital purchases can earn My Nintendo members My Nintendo Gold Points – awarded based on 5% of the amount paid (excluding tax and any points or discounts used). Gold Points can be redeemed toward the purchase of items like eligible digital games, DLC or Nintendo Switch Online memberships.

While the “Hits for the Holidays Sale” primarily features downloadable games, shoppers can also find discounted physical versions of select games, including Nintendo Switch Sports and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury on the My Nintendo Store.
