Masahiro Sakurai is back with yet another installment in his game development video series. Every once in awhile, Sakurai puts together a feature that isn’t really focused on game development itself, and instead talks about adjacent topics. He slots those videos into the ‘Grab Bag’ category, and today happens to bring us one of those videos.
Sakurai says that he sometimes wonders what his past industry mentors are up to nowadays. Just because they’ve vanished from the public eye doesn’t mean they’re actually gone, of course. As a matter of fact, some of them have moved into other roles in the industry, or pivoted to something else completely.
In today’s video, Sakurai talks about how some big-name game developers might be gone from gaming altogether, but they’re not forgotten by any means.
