Nintendo highlights free-to-play games on Switch

The Switch has literally thousands upon thousands of games, with so many of them worth your time. The question is, just how much do want to spend on gaming goodness? Sometimes money’s tight but you still want to have some fun (and you deserve to, too!), so what do you do? Don’t worry, there’s plenty of options on Switch that won’t cost you a dime.

The Switch is jam-packed with free-to-play games that don’t require you to spend a single penny. Games-as-a-service have really come into their own in the last few years, and many of them are completely free experiences. Sure, there are cosmetics you can buy for a few bucks here and there, but none of that is necessary to enjoy the base game. As long as you don’t mind a default look, you can play for free forever!
