Atari Lynx puzzler "Chip's Challenge" comes to Switch Jan. 25th, 2024
From one portable to another
Chip’s Challenge originally saw release all the way back in 1989 for the Atari Lynx. From that point, the game would be ported to numerous platforms, including the PC, where it would find considerable success. Come Jan. 25th, 2024, Switch owners will have a chance to go hands-on with this classic.
Chip’s Challenge returns with over 140 levels to tax your mind and fingers. Take on the role of puzzle-obsessed Chip, who desperately wants to join Melinda the Mental Marvel’s computer club. His initiation test is a series of increasingly difficult puzzles. Chip must collect items, slide blocks, dodge hazards and more to collect the computer chips needed to pass each level. Are you up to the Challenge?
This collection allows you to play these classic games with many modern features, including:
- Display filters, including retro LCD and CRT filters
- Save games - save and restore your game at any point
- Right- and left-handed control presets
