Square Enix Music shares a piano cover of Final Fantasy VII's "Let the Battles Begin!"

Square Enix Music has been sharing a decent amount of covers lately, and that trend continues with yet another video. In the clip above, you can hear a piano cover of “Let the Battles Begin!” from Final Fantasy VII, as performed by Ryota Kikuchi.

Ryota Kikuchi is a Japanese YouTuber, composer and pianist. Kikuchi is known for performing all sorts of tunes from both anime and games, and has actually created multiple covers for Square Enix Music. This Final Fantasy VII cover is Kikuchi’s latest work, but there’s no doubt he’ll return for another fantastic tribute.

The above version of Let the Battles Begin! was both arranged and performed by Ryota Kikuchi. As for the recording and mixing, that work was handled by Mai Kondo. The recording session itself was held at Landmark Studio.
