Mortal Kombat 1 gets "Khameleon" kameo fighter Jan 16th, 2023

The official Mortal Kombat X account has shared details on when players can expect the next kameo fighter, along with a look of who it’ll be.

We now know that Khameleon is joining Mortal Kombat 1 as a kameo fighter, and she’ll be jumping into the action come January 16th, 2024. You can get a quick look at Khameleon’s design in the avatar artwork above.

Kameo Fighters act as an assist system in the game, allowing for offensive and defensive capabilities depending on the Kameo Fighter selected. A Kameo fighter can appear on the fightline and perform an attack on the opponent while the player-controlled fighter is attacking the opponent, defending against them, or otherwise attempting to start up a combo attack.
