Following the Pokémon Company, Square Enix, and Capcom; Nintendo has announced they will donate to aid in the Noto Peninsula earthquake relief. Nintendo have posted on their official Japanese Twitter/X account that they will donate 50 million yen (~$340k) to the Japanese Red Cross.

Nintendo have also announced that they will be providing free products repairs from those in the affected areas for the next 6 months. You can read a translation of Nintendo’s statement down below.

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to everyone who was affected by the 2020 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.

We will provide free repairs for our products requested by people in areas where the Disaster Relief Act applies in response to the 2020 Noto Peninsula Earthquake for a period of 6 months from the application of the Disaster Relief Act in each region. In addition, we will donate 50 million yen through the Japanese Red Cross Society to support those affected by the disaster.
