Arc System Works handled development on Another Code: Recollection

Seeing Nintendo announce Another Code: Recollection was somewhat surprised, as the game’s original developer, Cing, closed years ago. It’s certainly great to see their work live on through this collection, but many were wondering if Nintendo took on development in-house or farmed the work out to someone else. Now we have our answer.

Arc System Works has taken to X to celebrate the launch of Another Code: Recollection, and we now know that they handled development on the title. We’re used to seeing Nintendo work with third parties on various titles, as they’ve teamed with the likes of Bandai Namco, WayForward, Koei Tecmo and plenty of others. Seeing them team with Arc System Works isn’t all that surprising, but I don’t think anyone had them pegged as the devs behind Another Code: Recollection.
