Trainers can meet Stellar Form Terapagos, the result of Terapagos’s Terastal energy becoming abnormally amplified, in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk, the exciting DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet now available exclusively Switch.

Terapagos takes on this form when it comes into contact with a Tera Orb while in its Terastal Form. It’s thought that this causes Terapagos’s Terastal energy to become abnormally amplified.

Trainers can also learn about the Stellar Tera Type, the 19th Tera Type with the power of all types, in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.

The Stellar Tera Type behaves differently from all other Tera Types. It’s important to use the right Tera Type for the right situation. In addition to affecting Tera Blast, the Stellar Tera Type also affects type matchups differently. For other Tera Types, once a Pokémon Terastallizes, its Tera Type determines type matchups. However, with the Stellar Tera Type, the Pokémon’s original type or types continue to determine type matchups instead.

During their adventure, Trainers will come across Stellar Tera Shards. They can take these to the Treasure Eatery in Medali in the Paldea region, and they will be able to change their Pokémon’s Tera Type to Stellar.
