Pokémon Horizons "Captain Pikachu" and "Black Rayquaza" plushes revealed

Pokémon Horizons hasn’t kicked off its run here in the states, but we’ll get to check things out come March 7th, 2024. While we’ve still got some weeks left, other parts of the world have been enjoying the series for awhile now. That very much includes Japan, and those over in that part of the world now have some new anime merch to swoon over.

Official pluses for Captain Pikachu and Black Rayquaza, two characters from Pokémon Horizons, are now available to purchase in Japan. Captain Pikachu is priced at $22.30, while Black Rayquaza is pricier at $37.10. Captain Pikachu measures 22 centimeters and Black Rayquaza is a bit bigger at 35 centimeters.

Takara Tomy is selling these new anime plushes in multiple locations in Japan, including their own website. There’s no word on a release outside of Japan for now, but it’s likely just a matter of time. If/when they’re announced for other regions, we’ll be sure to let you know.
