HAMSTER has been bringing arcade classics to the Switch for years now, keeping up a weekly cadence that’s incredibly impressive. Obviously, with titles coming out every single week, it’s not surprising to learn that hundreds of games have been added under the Arcade Archives banner. As a matter of fact, with the most recent release last week, HAMSTER has achieved a new milestone.

If you’re a fan of arcade classics from decades gone by, the Switch is definitely the place to be. HAMSTER has announced that throughout their years of support, they’ve now released 400 different arcade games to the Switch! From platformers to run-and-guns, puzzle titles to fighting games, any and every genre you could want is represented.

For those who don’t know, the “Arcade Archives” series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores.

Let's just not think about how much money I spent on those 400 games...
400 x 8 $... Yikes.
