C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield "Story" trailer, release date revealed

Late last year, it was revealed that ACQUIRE is working on C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield, a new roguelike deckbuilder RPG that’ll see Switch release in 2024. The game was previously announced for PC only, but now we know Switch owners will be able to get in on the fun. Today brings us a new story trailer for the game, along with release date info.

ACQUIRE has revealed that C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield will launch for Switch on May 23rd, 2024, and over in Japan there will be a physical release. Those who snag a first-print copy will be treated to a digipak containing an 80-page art book and the official soundtrack. Pre-orders for the physical version open February 7th, 2024.

Stages in C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield are covered in mist, which will lift the deeper you progress. Take advantage of the roguelike elements to build unique strategies for each battle that lies ahead. These battles are card-based, with the card illustrations handled by top illustrators.

The story of C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield focuses on the zealous bonds of the Clausewitz Mercenaries. The leader is voiced by Lynn, and the supporting cast is voiced by Takeo Otsuka, Hiroki Yasumoto, Chiwa Saitou, Atsumi Tanezaki, Yuuichirou Umehara, Nobuhiko Okamoto, and Karin Takahashi.
