Kathryn Newton is an actress known for her roles in Gary Unmarried, Big Little Lies, The Society, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and more. She’ll be starring in the upcoming Lisa Frankenstein, and in doing the press junket for the film, IGN stopped her to have a quick chat about gaming.

While today’s older actors don’t seem to dabble in gaming too much, the younger generation has spent more than its fair share of time playing many of the titles we love. Turns out Newton is quite the gamer, and she spent a consierable amount of time with titles that Nintendo fans will no doubt recognize.

According to Newton, some of her favorite games include Nintendogs, Super Mario Bros., Super Monkey Ball and more. Some of those games definitely give away the era Newton grew up gaming with, and it seems her appreciation for Nintendo has continued on to this day. Just hearing her mention Nintendogs makes me want to go back and see how my poor, neglected puppy is doing!
