Nintendo talks about the importance of fun and unique experiences for dedicated hardware, commitment to Nintendo Accounts

Nintendo recently held a Q&A following their latest fiscal results, and with that came a number of questions from investors. One such question talked about the lifespan of the Switch and the future of Nintendo’s hardware efforts in general.

While Nintendo obviously wasn’t ready to share specifics on where their hardware is going after Switch, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa did talk about what led to the Switch’s success, and how Nintendo’s ideas will hopefully take them into another prosperous generation. This included a focus on fun and surprising content, Nintendo Accounts and more.
