Back in December of last year, Nintendo announced the cancellation of Nintendo Live 2024 Tokyo, which was scheduled for January 20-21, 2024, at the Tokyo Big Sight Convention Center. The decision came after Nintendo received threats targeting its employees and the spectators, and so they decided to take the safer route since people’s safety takes a much higher priority.

This also meant that the multiple events were cancelled, including the The Splatoon 3 Deep Cut concert and Legend of Zelda concert. The Legend of Zelda orchestral concert was set to include songs from throughout the franchise’s history, and the Splatoon 3 concert will was going to offer a performance from Deep Cut.

Back in late January, we learned when these events have been rescheduled for. Nintendo confirmed that the Legend of Zelda concert will be shared on Nintendo’s YouTube channel on Feb. 9th at 8 AM ET, with the Splatoon 3 concert airing Feb. 10th via the same channel, but at an undisclosed time. These will both be pre-recorded events.

Mere hours before the Legend of Zelda concert video was shared, Nintendo put out a special clip showcasing the Link, Zelda and Ganondorf statues they had on display at the Legend of Zelda concert. All three characters are sporting their looks from Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, making for quite the striking image when seen together.
