Arc System Works America, Inc. and Project Moon have revealed the second gameplay footage for the upcoming console release of Library of Ruina, arriving on Switch this Spring. This footage showcases the first Reception (battle), following the Visit chapter! Keep an ear out for the rest of the voice cast in addition to Roland and Angela.

This new release of Library of Ruina comes fully voiced by a star-studded Japanese voice cast, including Ikumi Hasegawa as Angela, the library’s director and head librarian, and self-proclaimed “washed up” Fixer (handyman) Roland is brought to life by Shunsuke Takeuchi. Players can also find an in-game digital soundtrack and 600 page artbook originally found on the PC version, as well as developer commentary.

Library of Ruina is the follow-up to Project Moon’s Lobotomy Corporation, taking place in the same world and setting. Players take the role of Roland, who would do any job requiring skills that the average person does not have. After his sudden appearance in the Library, Roland finds himself assisting the director Angela in her search for the “One Absolute Book.” To obtain this book, they must invite Guests to the library - Guests who meet their end during their reception are transformed into Books, guiding them to new Guests, and eventually the One Absolute Book.

Players experience engaging gameplay mechanics and setting, from the captivating dialogue scenes to the strategic Battle Stage selection process, culminating in a thrilling battle (reception) where the roll of a dice holds the power to determine their fate.
