We’ve seen plenty of Nintendo tie-ups with McDonald’s over the years. There have been countless Pokémon Happy Meals released, and the same goes for collaborations featuring the Mario line of characters as well. Today we’ve learned that McDonald’s and Nintendo are working together once again, but this time we’re getting a release that’s definitely outside the norm.

Starting February 23rd, 2024, McDonald’s locations in Japan are going to be offering Kirby-themed Happy Meals. This line will feature a whopping eight mini-plushies, with seven different Kirby designs and one lone Waddle-Dee. You can see all eight plush dolls in the video above.

The Kirby Happy Meals will run in two waves, with wave one being available February 23rd to 29th, 2024, and it includes regular Kirby, floating Kirby, Winking Kirby, and Waddle Dee. The second wave runs March 1st to 7th, 2024 and includes Sleepy Kirby, Yellow Kirby, Jumping Kirby, and Cone Mouth Kirby.

There’s no word on this Happy Meal collaboration being released outside of Japan, but hopefully it’s just a matter of time!
