Square Enix Music has been sharing a decent amount of covers lately, and that trend continues with yet another video. In the clip above, you can hear a piano cover of “Fanfare” from Final Fantasy IV, as performed by Hiroyuki Nakayama.

Hiroyuki Nakayama is a pianist, arranger, orchestrator, and performer who has contributed in novel arrangements for new releases of songs from the Final Fantasy series. He is also known for his work on the Kingdom Hearts franchise as well. (h/t Fandom)

The above version of Fanfare was both recorded and mixed by Mai Kondo, with the original composition coming from Nobuo Uematsu. The recording session itself was held at Landmark Studio.
