The Bravely series kicked off in 2012 with Bravely Default on the 3DS, which then paved the way for Bravely Second: End Layer and then finally Bravely Default II on Switch back in 2021. It’s been 3 years since Bravely Default II graced fans, and it appears it’s not going to be the last installment in the series.

In honor of the 3rd anniversary of Bravely Default II, the official Bravely Default X account shared the special artwork above, which was created by Rina Yoshiura, an artist on Team Asano. Along with that fun artwork came a special message from the Bravely franchise producer, Tomoya Asano, and it seems 2024 will be rather eventful for the IP.

While not giving specifics, Asano has said that he should be able to share some news on developments with the Bravely series in 2024. That could mean a new game, some sort of port, an adaptation in another medium or literally anything. While the statement is a bit nebulous in terms of what to expect, it’s certainly nice to know that the Bravely franchise isn’t done yet!

Thanks to Alternis Liz for the heads up!
