Freedom Planet 2 "Equippable Items" Trailer

XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., is bringing Freedom Planet 2, the high-speed retro action-platformer developed by GalaxyTrail, to Switch in North America on April 4. The title is currently available for digital pre-order for a MSRP of $24.99, discounted 10% off the regular price through April 10.

Today, the publisher also shared a new gameplay video showcasing the four heroines of Avalice employing helpful items from Freedom Planet 2’s new equippable item system, which players can use to change the rules of the game, dialing the difficulty of the level up or down as they speed through a gorgeous, 2D-pixelworld.
