We are extremely saddened to learn that Mark Dodson, a voice actor in multiple videogames, has passed away at the age of 64. Dodson passed away over the weekend from a heart attack he had while sleeping.

Dodson had appeared in quite a few videogame roles over the years, lending his voice talents to the Ghostrunner series as Adam Hamada, Barnabas in Grim Dawn series, and other voices in Anamoly 2, various Nancy Drew titles, Painkiller: Hell & Damnation and Bendy & the Dark Revival.

Dodson is no doubt most well known for bringing to life the Star Wars character of Salacious B. Crumb, and you can hear his most recent work as that character in LEGO STAR WARS: The Skywalker Saga. Outside of games, Crumb also was responsible for voicing the Mogwai in the Gremlins franchise.

Our hearts go out to all those who are impacted by Dodson’s passing. Without a doubt, his work voicing multiple iconic characters in huge franchises will keep his memory alive for decades to come.
