Runner2 temporarily removed from the Switch eShop (UPDATE)

Looks like Balatro getting removed from the Switch eShop in Europe has started a trend, as now another title has been yanked from the service as well.

Choice Provisions has shared that BIT.TRIP Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien has vanished from the Switch eShop. Always the jokers, Choice Provisions didn’t state why the game was pulled, instead blaming it on “elk, international espionage, and the secret ingredient to Schlortz Premium Malt Fluid. (It’s meat; the secret ingredient is meat!)”

The good news is that we shouldn’t have to wait too long for the title to return. In a reply to a fan, Choice Provisions said they expect BIT.TRIP Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien to make its return to the Switch eShop tomorrow.

UPDATE: The issue has been fixed, and BIT.TRIP Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien has made its way back to the Switch eShop. We now know it was pulled due to a ratings issue.
