The Legendary Pokémon of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are Koraidon and Miraidon. These two Pokémon are quite special even in the world of Pokémon, as they can basically transform into vehicles to allow you faster travel. You might think this kind of experience is something impossible in real life, but apparently Toyota wants to change that.

Members of the Toyota Engineering Society, an organization of Toyota employees created to enhance the technical skills and talents of its members, have decided to take on the crazy task of bringing a rideable Miraidon into the real world. As you can see in the image above, they’re already cooked up a pretty impressive prototype that has the form and functions of the videogame counterpart.

Obviously this isn’t the kind of product that Toyota will mass produce. It’s meant as more of a project for the Toyota Engineering Society to come together and problem solve on. That said, if Toyota and Pokémon Co. did team up for an official release of this line, you could bet Pokémon fans and motorcycle enthusiasts would rush to secure theirs.

Those interested in seeing the Toyota Miraidon Project by the Toyota Engineering Society in real life will be able to do so very soon. The motorcycle will be on display at the Tokyo Midtown Hibiya Atrium from March 15th through March 17th, 2024.

Thanks to Olivia for the heads up!

UPDATE: Following the announcement of this project, Pokémon Co. has released an official video showing how the motorcycle was made, and a second video features the design in action. You can check out both below.
