Nintendo's latest “Pyon Zuba Basha” music video gets a "Hop Chop Splat Oh-no!" English version
Still catchy as hell
Last year, Nintendo started a series of YouTube videos that featured a “Pyon Zuba Basha” song. These videos were meant to showcase longtail sellers on Switch, all of them adapting the song to fit the games. It was a catchy tune that seemed to go over well with fans, so Nintendo cranked out multiple videos in 2023 featuring the same format.
If you thought Nintendo was going to ditch the idea for 2024, think again. Earlier this year, Nintendo once again released a Pyon Zuba Basha video, and originally the spot was only available in Japanese. Today that’s changed, as Nintendo has actually gone through with an English version and you can watch it above.
Just as with previous installments, the latest Pyon Zuba Basha music video puts the spotlight on Switch titles that have already been released. This time around, we get fresh looks at The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Splatoon 3.
