Back in January, the official Hogwarts Legacy X account announced that Hogwarts Legacy PlayStation-exclusive content will be available across all platforms, Switch included, come Summer 2024. This content includes the Haunted Hogsmeade quest, which grants access to the Hogsmeade Shop and Shopkeeper cosmetic set.

That’s not all Hogwarts Legacy fans had to look forward to either. The dev team also confirmed that additional updates and features will see release as well, but specifics on those components is yet to be shared. Today, we’re now getting some clarification on this free update in order to put expectations in check.

Over on X, Avalanche community manager Chandler Wood shared a statement about what fans should look forward to with Hogwarts Legacy’s free Summer update. (h/t VGC) Wood said that the original wording of “additional updates and features for the game” was very intentional, as this update will be a “small way of showing appreciation” to the players for their warm welcome of the game. Unfortunately, Wood stopped short of sharing specifics, but hopefully that info comes soon.
