Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution composer revealed

Anyone who follows the Shantae series knows that each installment in the franchise has a killer soundtrack. Fantastic music is a big part of the series’ DNA, and multiple talented composers have helped bring Shantae’s adventures to life over the years. Now we know who’s going to taking the helm in the genie’s next outing.

In an interview with Nintendo Life, WayForward talked about multiple areas of Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution, and that includes the soundtrack. It turns out the game was using placeholder music back in its GBA days, so a brand-new OST had to be made. That didn’t come about until 2023, and we now know that composer Maddie Lim is behind the project.

Those who play WayForward games are no stranger to Maddie Lim, as they’ve teamed with the composer multiple times in the past. Lim has been behind the soundtracks for games like Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, Vitamin Connection and more, so it seems like Shantae’s next OST is in very capable hands!
