Omori hits Switch in Japan on June 17th, 2022

Today’s Indie World Showcase in North America didn’t feature an update on Omori, but the Japanese version sure did! That version of the presentation included more gameplay of the title, but more important, it shared a release date. We now know that Omori is heading to Switch in Japan on June 17th, 2022.

While that date isn’t confirmed for any other region at this time, it’s quite likely we’ll see the game launch at roughly the same time. Hopefully we can get confirmation on that from the developer in the near future.
