Somehow, it’s already been 20 years since Katamari Damacy came onto the scene. Today marks the exact date, March 18th, that Katamari Damacy released on the PlayStation 2, and the series somehow went on to find a worldwide audience (and rightfully so!). Now, in honor of two decades of Katamari Damacy, Bandai Namco is celebrating in a number of ways.

First up is a brand-new social media account that’ll be sharing all sorts of news on Katamari Damacy, reveals of collabs, facts about the franchise and more. If you’d like to follow along with all things Katamari Damacy, you can find the official Twitter/X account for the anniversary here.

On the music side of things, Bandai Namco has shared a “KatamaRespect Remix” EP album that includes fresh takes on classic Katamari Damacy series songs. These new tracks are performed by Den-On-Bu characters, and it’s available to stream right now on platforms like Spotify and YouTube Music. This album will be followed by a digital release of the original Katamari Damacy soundtrack later this month.

Of course, you can’t have an anniversary celebration without some merch, and Bandai Namco has teamed with multiple companies to bring out a variety of goodies. Fans of the franchise will be able to snag hats, hoodies, cake jars, acrylic stands, keychains and more. If you’d like to get a look at the complete merch lineup so far, you can find a gallery of photos here.

UPDATE: As promised, Bandai Namco has now made the original Katamari Damacy soundtrack available to stream. You can find the Spotify embed below, but the soundtrack is also available on Apple Music.
