Luigi's Mansion 2 plushes seeing re-release

Back when Luigi’s Mansion 2, named Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon in the states, launched in 2013, it brought with it a wave of merch. That included a series of plushies from Sanei Boeki that have long since been out of print, but the good news is that you’ll soon have another chance to scoop them up.

A series of 3 plushies are on their way back to stores in Japan, all of them based on characters you’ll find in Luigi’s Mansion 2. The lineup includes Luigi with the Poltergust 5000, scared Luigi and finally, a plush Polterpup. These were available via Nintendo NY during their original run, so hopefully that’ll happen again with this stock refresh.

Sanei Boeki says these plushies will hit retailers once again in late June this year, but again, we don’t know if they’ll be sold outside of Japan. That said, it should be easy to snag a set from import retailers like Play-Asia, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled for that opportunity.
