Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 launched back in October of last year, and it brought gamers an easy way to play multiple entries in the MGS franchise. That said, it doesn’t include all of the outings Snake has gone on, and fans are eager to have a crack at those adventures in a collection as well.

You might remember that back in June, the official website for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 caused some speculation about a second collection being in the works. That website launched with placeholder buttons for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, but Konami hadn’t confirmed any of those games for a bundle. Unfortunately 9 months later they’re still not ready to fully commit.

In an internally-produced video on all things Metal Gear Solid, series producer Noriaki Okamura answered a variety of questions. One of them pertained to the possibility of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 being in the works. According to Okamura, Konami hasn’t decided which games would be included in a second volume at this time, nor have they locked in when it would release. Along with that, Okamura asked fans to please wait a bit longer.
