Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL drives Konami to record profits, hits 30 million downloads

Konami may be a far cry from the company it used to be, but that doesn’t mean it’s languishing. The company just released their latest fiscal year report, and it’s clear they’re doing just fine.

All in all, Konami saw record high revenue and profit across all categories for the fiscal year, reaching ¥299.5 billion ($2.3 billion), up 9.9% year-on-year. A big chunk of this success was driven by Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL, which has surpassed 30 million downloads worldwide.

Konami also trumpeted the success of eBaseball Powerful Pro Yakyu 2022, which was the biggest selling new release of last month in Japan.
