Monster slaying is the biggest element in any Monster Hunter game, but cooking and eating is also a huge portion of the game. Eating the right meals can lead to buffs that make a big difference during fights, making it well worth your time to stop and snack. While we might not be taking down monsters in real life, I think everyone can agree that stopping for a treat or two can make a big difference in your day. That’s exactly why this next Monster Hunter collab is the perfect tie-in.

Capcom has teamed with Japanese food company Oisis to release a series of Monster Hunter-inspired bread products in Japan, and the line is set to launch April 2024. These tasty treats will be sold at various supermarkets and drug stores throughout the Kinki and Chugoku regions in western Honshu, as well as the Shikoku island.

Wondering what goodies will be up for grabs? Monster Hunter fans can look forward to a Zinogre Margherita bun, a Rathalos curry bun, and a Felyne steamed bun with cheese. Those who stock up on more than 3 of these snacks can enter into a sweepstakes to win Monster Hunter-branded QUO prepaid cards.

The fun doesn’t stop there, as Oisis will also offer more Monster Hunter-themed bread exclusively at its Mother Basket and Arome bakeries in Osaka and Hyogo prefectures. These exclusive treats include a cheese pizza shaped like Zinogre’s thunder, a carry bun modeled after Rathalos’ fireball, and bread with sausage that resembles a Well-Done Steak. The first 500 customers at each location to order one of these exclusive meals will get to take home a random coaster mat at no additional cost.

If you’d like to get a closer look at the various snacks and exclusives Oisis is cooking up, you can find a gallery of photos here.
