If there’s one thing modders like to do, it’s take a console and cram it into a portable. That’s especially been true with Nintendo’s hardware, as Big N fans seem to love the challenge of fitting console guts into tiny handheld spaces. That’s exactly what modder @limonegongbang has done, taking the Famicom and shrinking it down to Game Boy size.

Limonegongbang has absolutely killed it with their Famicom mod, bringing the classic console down to a size that fits in the palm of your hands. This custom mod also packs in a 3.5-inch LCD screen, which is obviously leagues beyond what the Game Boy had back in the day. That’s not even the most impressive part though…

Rather than taking a bunch of Famicom games and slapping them onto a microSD card, this Famicom mod opens in the back to allow you to plug actual Famicom cartridges in. Now you can legit play any Famicom game on the go, and with the added bonus of a rapid-fire button scheme as well!
