Another Witcher 3 Easter egg discovered 9 years after launch

Who cares if The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming up on its 9th anniversary? People are still plugging away at the game to search every nook and cranny for secrets, Easter eggs and more, and a new hidden message has just been discovered.

Detailed in the video above, YouTuber xLetalis was working their way through The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to see what they could find, and that includes sticking their nose into areas that weren’t meant to be seen. Through the use of a glitch that gets Geralt under the map, a special message was found hiding under Novigrad.

The secret message, seen above, is a special posting from developer CD Projekt Red telling players of their caliber are needed. The odd thing about this Easter egg is that it’s not visible when flying throughout the map with an unlocked camera. The only way to see this message right now is by glitch, but no one is quite sure what triggers its appearance.

So…the message was found, but not the proper way of triggering it. That means with this fresh discovery comes a whole new mystery. Let’s see if it takes players another 9 years to crack the code on this one!
