Playing Card Decor Pikmin join Pikmin Bloom May 1st, 2024

Used not only for games, but also for magic tricks, playing cards are such a versatile staple for fun activities! This May, Pikmin Bloom is welcoming Playing Card Decor Pikmin featuring all 13 cards of the diamond suit, as well as a Joker, for a total of 14 types! Additionally, the shop will be offering an array of fairy tale-inspired costumes for you to enjoy your walks in style! This opportunity runs to May 31, 2024, 23:59 local time.

Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for Purple, White, Winged and Rock Playing Card Decor Pikmin (8 types in total)

For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain rewards at random. These can be Diamond Cookies, seedlings that grow into Playing Card Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.

Missions for the event will be published here on the day the event starts – stay tuned!

When you purchase a Premium Event Pass, you’ll be able to enjoy the following perks for the duration of the event (May 1st through 31st):

• For every stage cleared, you’ll receive extra seasonal nectar that you can put to good use in order to clear event-related tasks!
• When you clear the 4th stage, you will receive an additional Gold Seedling for your desired color (red, yellow, blue, purple, white, pink, or gray) and card type of Playing Card Decor Pikmin (out of a total of 14 types available). This applies to the 4th stage and any subsequent stages that are a multiple of 4 (8th, 12th, 16th, etc).
• The Event Premium Pass is available to users from Lv20 onwards.
• The Event Premium Pass won’t be displayed to users at or below Lv19.
• Event Premium Pass rewards apply retroactively for cleared Event Challenge missions, regardless of when you obtain it at the shop.

Event Premium Pass purchases within the first week of the event (until May 7th 23:59 local time) will include Diamond Cookies as a bonus. Please note the early bird bonus will no longer be available after the first week of the event. Clear Playing Card Event missions to obtain exclusive Cheshire Cat Mii costumes and seedlings for Red, Yellow, and Blue Playing Card Decor Pikmin (6 types in total)!

• You’ll receive the Diamond Cookie Missions at the beginning of the event.
• Diamond Cookies can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Bizarre Mushrooms, as a bonus with the purchase of an Event Premium Pass, from the Event Challenge Special Pack, and as a bonus for the purchase of an event-limited Mii costume.
• The seedlings obtained from clearing these missions grow into either Red, Yellow, and BluePlaying Card Decor Pikmin (6 types in total). Please note that there’s no guarantee that you’ll complete the whole set.
• Once the Playing Card Event ends, the Diamond Cookie missions will disappear. Please note that the Diamond Cookies have no purpose outside of this event.

During the event, you may encounter Bizarre Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain items such as Diamond Cookies and flower petals, among others. Playing Card Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!

Additionally, on weekends, you may encounter Giant Bizarre Mushrooms that contain a rare type of Mystery Box. On these weekends, the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn will be available for use up to 3 times a day, too! Team up with your friends to destroy some mighty mushrooms together!

Giant Bizarre Mushrooms will appear on the following weekends:

• May 3rd through 6th
• May 11 & 12
• May 18 & 19
• May 25 & 26

During the event, Playing Card Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than the usual against all types of mushrooms.

During May, we will be celebrating Pikmin Bloom’s 2.5 Anniversary! To thank all of users for their continued support, Niantic will hold a special event set to start on May 18th. The event will be separated in 2 phases. During the 1st one, Koppaite Space Suit Decor Pikmin and Pikmin 4 Spaceship Decor Pikmin will be making a comeback for a limited period of time, during which you may be able to obtain their seedlings from Mystery Boxes! Stay tuned for further details.

• Special Mission Ticket: Playing Card: When you purchase this ticket and clear the dedicated mission, you’ll obtain a gold seedling in your desired color (red, yellow, blue, purple, white, pink, or gray) and type of card of Playing Card Decor Pikmin (from the 14 available types). The mission must be completed by July 31, 2024 at 23:59.
• Gold Seedlings obtained from inviting friends and family to play Pikmin Bloom between May 1st and May 31st will grow into any of the 14 available types of Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged or Rock Playing Card Decor Pikmin.
