Did you hang onto your Nintendo DS from back in the day? Depending on which one you have, you might be able to make a little bit of money from it on the second-hand market. You won’t make as much money as people are willing to bid one a very special Nintendo DS though, as it could bring in enough for a year’s worth of college tuition!

The above Nintendo DS was commissioned by Nintendo and it features 2,000 Swarovski crystals in the shape of a paw. This DS was created by NYC Peach and was brought into existence to promote the release of Nintendogs all the way back in 2005. In particular, the design above is just one of five in existence.

This Nintendo DS is set to go up for auction in the near future, and estimates have it sitting at roughly $18,700 when all is said an done. Of course, depending on the coverage before the auction and the excitement that builds, there’s no reason this one can’t climb considerably higher. We’ll keep an eye on the auction and see where it ends, and you can follow along through this link.
