Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is coming to the Switch on July 14th, 2024, and it offers everything found in the original SMTV and SO much more. The biggest addition is Shin a brand-new route, the “Canon of Vengeance” – a dramatic tale of revenge by the fallen, centered around new characters and an enigmatic cohort of demons, the Qadištu, who plot their own dark designs apart from the war of those who fight to maintain order and those who seek to defy it. That said, the game will also contain the original story path, along with every other bit of content from the 2021 release.

If you want to grab the original version of SMTV, you better hop on it while you still can. ATLUS has announced that in advance of SMTV: Vengeance’s arrival, the original SMTV is going to be delisted from the Switch eShop. You’ll be able to grab the game all the way up to June 13th, 2024, but after that the digital option will be gone. The same goes for all the DLC available for SMTV as well.

While some may be disappointed that SMTV will be yanked from the Switch eShop, this will no doubt remove any confusion customers have when trying to purchase SMTV. Instead of giving them two versions of the game, one with bonus content and one inferior, there will be just one all-in-one option to go with.

For a complete look at everything that’ll be delisted on June 13th, 2024, you can read the list below.

You can still redownload it if you bought the digital version of the original SMTV release though right?
