Official Pikmin hats releasing in Japan

The success of Pikmin 4 on Switch, which is the best-selling entry in the entire franchise, has paved the way for a new round of merch. The latest item up for grabs goes beyond the usual plush fodder to instead offer a rather bold fashion choice.

Taito and Nintendo have teamed up for a series of Pikmin-themed hats. There’s a trio of releases, coming in blue, red, and yellow options. As of right now, it seems the only way to snag one of these stylish hats is to win it via a Taito claw machine.

As of right now, there are no announcements about these hats launching outside of Japan. Hopefully some importers will add them to their storefronts in the near future. If/when these hats become available through some other methods, we’ll be sure to let you know.
