Pokémon GO’s Season of Alola is coming to an end with the special Alola to Alola finale event. This event runs from May 25th to May 31st, 2022, and you can read the full details of this finale below.
End-of-Season Special Research: Alola to Alola
Complete all four of the event-exclusive Special Research stories by June 1, 2022 at 9:59 a.m. local time, to unlock a bonus end-of-Season Special Research story!
Reminisce about your favorite island in the Alola region with this branching Special Research story that lets you pick between Melemele Island, Akala Island, Ula’Ula Island, and Poni Island, and enjoy different tasks and rewards based on your selection!
Tickets to access the end-of-Season Special Research story will also be available in the shop for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency)*.
Trainers who obtain the end-of-Season Special Research story by completing the four individual Special Research paths will be able to purchase the ticket in the shop for additional rewards.
*Tickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Please note that this Special Research will not include an in-game medal.

Special Research: Alola to Alola – Melemele Island path
Trainers who are most interested in Melemele Island and spending time with their friends should pick this research path! These tasks will focus on social challenges like sending Gifts and taking snapshots, and they’ll offer the following rewards.
