If you’re a fan of physical game releases, there’s no company worth paying attention to more than Limited Run Games. The publisher is cranking out physical copies of Switch and legacy platform titles left and right, and today we’ve gotten a great look at what their future lineup has to offer.

Limited Run Games has just aired LRG3 2024, and it was chock-full of Switch announcements. You can see a complete recap of all the Nintendo-related titles below, along with an official press release.

  • STAR WARS: Dark Forces Remaster getting a physical Switch release, pre-orders open tomorrow

It looks like a pixel platformer, but it’s so much more. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus goes physical on the Switch later this summer. This release will include all the game’s content on a single game card, instead of requiring a download as the previous release did.

  • Limited Run Games is partnering with Grasshopper for “one hell of a surprise.” Further details will be shared at a later date. That said, this is most likely a teaser for a physical release of Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered.

Limited Run Games, a premium publisher of physical and digital games, went live today with the LRG3 2024 Summer Showcase today, announcing over 20 games in what proved to be one of the biggest digital showcases of the year!

In what proved to be a non-stop hit parade, LRG3 2024 aimed to deliver a killer line-up of classics, many of which have been requested by fans and collectors for many years. With fan-favorite titles such as Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition, Fear Effect, Lollipop Chainsaw, Busby Collection and many more, the showcase featured an incredible list of new games coming soon to modern gamers.

Limited Run also teased a partnership on social media today with Grasshopper Manufacture for a future project. More news to come at a later date.

Known for their unwavering love of physical, the following game announcements are set to arrive in physical form only:

The following games have been developed using Limited Run Games’ proprietary Carbon Engine, designed to offer the highest levels of authenticity. Each of the following games, will also be arriving in physical form only:

Mostly disappointed tbh. I'll get Shantae and Beyond Good & Evil IF it includes the original German dub.

For a second I thought Wolfenstein: The new order was seeing a release on switch. It's weird to see it re-releasing as it already had a physical release. The switch port is really good just like Doom and Doom Eternal, but I prefer first one over the sequel (just like doom 👀). Maybe one day I'll be able play it on the couch and in bed!
