Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty vinyl soundtrack up for pre-order

While it took literally decades for it to happen, Nintendo fans can finally enjoy Metal Gear Solid 2 thanks to a release on Switch. This is the fourth release in the METAL GEAR series, and Metal Gear Solid 2 is a story a told in two parts. In the Tanker chapters, Solid Snake sneaks into a secret tanker in pursuit of a new top-secret nuclear weapon, called Metal Gear. In the Plant chapters, Raiden of the new FOXHOUND unit infiltrates an offshore plant occupied by terrorists.

It doesn’t matter whether Switch was the first place you got to play MGS2 or you’ve been a fan for years, as either side of the equation will no doubt be interested in today’s reveal. Mondo Music has pulled back the curtain on the premiere vinyl release of Konami’s METAL GEAR SOLID 2: SONS OF LIBERTY soundtrack.

Pressed on 140 gram vinyl, this expanded 3xLP release comes housed in a tri-fold gatefold sleeve with original art by Stephen Green. The album is up for pre-order now and can be secured for $60.
