KidZania is an interactive city made for children aged 1-14 that combines inspiration, fun and learning through realistic role-play. Kids can independently explore a scaled indoor city with more than 100 exciting careers that they can try.

Nintendo has partnered with KidZania in the past, as multiple locations featured special Nintendo Labo pavilions where visitors were able to try the game and play around with its various components. Now Nintendo and KidZania are teaming up once again for something a little different.

The two KidZania locations in Japan are now offering Nintendo “Game Developer” experiences to engage with. This gives kids the chance to build their own software through Game Builder Garage, and then they can present their works to other kids in attendance. At the end of the experience, the kids get to take home an empty Switch game case sporting the name of their Game Builder Garage game.
