We all knew it was coming, but now we have confirmation of Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana getting a localization…even if it was shared by accident.

XSEED seems to have messed up with the scheduling of some of their posts on X, and one accidentally went live that was intended to be shared on July 7th, 2024. This coincided with XSEED’s event at Anime Expo 2024, and while the post has since been deleted, the internet remembers everything. Here’s what the post had to say:

“Time is running out to try out our [Anime Expo 2024] demos and cosplay photo op! Only one day left to play the demos for Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana, Potionomics: Masterwork Edition, and Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion—stop by Booth E-110 before the show ends!”

It’s a shame XSEED had an X goof, but nonetheless, it gives us a chance to get excited a bit earlier about Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana being localized. Obviously more details will come from Anime Expo 2024, and we’ll be sure to bring them to you.

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is a high-definition remastered of Ys: The Oath in Felghana, and launched Spring 2023 in Japan. Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana originally released for the PSP in 2018. This remaster is set to launch in Japan on April 27th, 2023. In addition to voiced events for the game’s more than 30 characters, voiceovers have also been added for protagonist Adol Christin, who will be voiced by Yuki Kaji. Coupled with narration by Banjou Ginga, players will be able to enjoy an even more dramatic story. All this goes hand-in-hand with refined visuals and overall sound.
