Fans of Animal Crossing: New Horizons in Japan have a brand-new book to look forward to, and it’ll be the perfect companion for those especially fond of the museum.

An Animal Crossing: New Horizons creature encyclopedia is on the way, and it covers all 235 species you can see/find/catch in the game. It’s meant to teach readers details about all of these animals, bugs, and fish, and it also comes with a near hour-long DVD that goes into even more detail on the critters.

Nintendo is positioning this release as an educational product, and it certainly seems to fit in line with that. Those in Japan who want to snag a copy of the book will be able to do so on July 29th, 2022. There are no announced plans for localization at this time.

If you’d like to et a closer look at the book, you can find more preview pages here.
