Mario Strikers: Battle League gives us the fast-and-furious Mario Strikers gameplay we want, and does so in considerably flashy fashion. Thankfully, this visual approach doesn’t result in a frame-rate hit when it comes to gameplay.

In the video above, you can see a frame-rate test for the final version of Mario Strikers: Battle League, and there’s nary a hiccup in the 60fps output. The only time we see that frame-rate dip is during a cut-scene, which drops things down to 30fps. While it would have been great to see the frame-rate hold at 60 for the entire experience, I think fans will be happy with that 60fps mark being maintained during gameplay.
