Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's legendary Pokémon names explained

We got a brand-new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet earlier today, and it revealed the legendary Pokémon for each game; Koraidon and Miraidon. Want to know a bit more about these two? Turns out those names have a bit more meaning when you dive into their original Japanese translations!

First up, the word Korai in Japanese means ancient past, and that certainly ties into the design of Koraidon. With Miraidon we get the Japanese word Mirai, which means distant future. Now you can see just how connected these two are!
